Test the biological age of your skin with the Telotest at The Nimmo Clinic

The Telotest is designed to assess the biological age of the skin.

Telotest works by measuring the length of telomeres, which are protective caps at the ends of chromosomes. Telomeres shorten as we age, and shorter telomeres are associated with a number of age-related conditions, including skin ageing.

The Telotest is a simple and non-invasive procedure. It involves taking a small sample of skin from the forearm. The sample is then sent to a laboratory for analysis. The results of the test are available within a few weeks.

The benefits of the test include:

  • It is a simple and non-invasive procedure.
  • It provides an objective measure of skin ageing.
  • It can be used to track the effectiveness of anti-ageing treatments.
  • It can be used to identify individuals who are at risk of premature skin ageing.
