HYALASE

Using Hyalase to dissolve unwanted dermal fillers, the safe and effective way at The Nimmo Clinic.

Hyalase is an enzyme that can be used to dissolve hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, such as those used in lip augmentation. It is a safe and effective treatment for people who are unhappy with their lip filler results, or who have experienced complications such as overfilling, migration, or lumps.

Hyalase works by breaking down the HA molecules in the filler. This causes the filler to dissolve and be reabsorbed by the body. The amount of Hyalase needed to dissolve lip filler will depend on the type of filler used, the amount of filler injected, and how long ago the filler was injected.

HOW OUR
TREATMENT WORKS

Hyalase is injected into the lips using a very fine needle. The injections may be slightly uncomfortable, but most people find them to be tolerable. After the injections, you may experience some swelling, redness, and bruising. These side effects are usually mild and resolve within a few days.

The amount of time it takes for lip fillers to dissolve with Hyalase will vary from person to person. However, most people see results within a few days. In some cases, multiple treatments may be necessary to completely dissolve the filler.

There are a few reasons why you might need hyalase:

  • If you are unhappy with the results of your HA filler treatment
  • If you have experienced an adverse reaction to your HA filler treatment, such as overfilling or an allergic reaction
  • If you need to prepare for a new HA filler treatment

Hyalase breaks down the HA filler by breaking the bonds between the HA molecules. This allows the filler to be absorbed by the body and excreted.

Hyalase can start to work immediately, but it may take several days to see the full results. The amount of time it takes for hyalase to work will depend on the type and amount of HA filler that was used.

Hyalase is a safe and effective treatment for dissolving HA fillers. However, it is important to have hyalase administered by a qualified medical professional.
